Crystals on a Kitchen Windowsill
Partager
If you cook, the sill is a splash zone.
A raw cluster next to the faucet films over. A tall tower next to a swinging curtain becomes a story you tell after it falls.

What works
A short polished piece on a small dish, at the dry end of the sill.
A mini grove under glass if the ledge is deeper than the dome.
Citrine or clear quartz if the window gets morning light. Strong noon through south glass can fade some colors—see the care post.
What does not
Open clusters. Soft stones. Framed landscapes that want a vertical wall, not a two-inch ledge.
Salt lamps next to steam. Five Guardian towers behind the tap.
Anything you would not set beside a cutting board.
Leave the herbs
If the sill already holds basil, the crystal is second. One stone. Not a second garden.
Dining is a different table
Food service belongs in the dining post. Host gifts belong in the piece you bring to dinner. The sill is only the strip of light above the sink.
