Photos can't capture how the tiny gold pyrite specks catch the light when you move your wrist. Looks like a starry night sky on each bead. Real authentic lapis you can tell, not the dyed uniform stuff.
Beautiful piece overall but a few of my beads have noticeable white streaks running through them. Read later that the white is natural calcite and actually proof it's real lapis, but if you want pure deep blue beads only just heads up the natural variation can be significant.
